UMO has spent a decade tuning its sound based on direct hardware in the Barcelona rave / club scene. Always working with the same machines, going deep into them and getting a very personal sound.

Before editing anything, his proposal was tested at the foot of tracks in electronic temples such as La Camara, Nave 13-14, Moog, Razzmatazz, La Cova, Apolo, BeCool (BCN), Industrial Copera (GRX), La Sala ( Bogota), SeOne (London), Coopelia 101 (Madrid) or Florida 135 (Fraga).

This 2018 he presented his first studio work, Bloodline. A 5 track vinyl EP that is the first reference of OPENTHENEXT, a label that starts with Cat Gabal.

Bloodline [OTN 01] is a sinuous and complex electronic album where tracks evolve between multiple nuances and unexpected turns.

Slow cosmic dance, presented by the Paris Toolbox distributor as “Electro dark house (or Techno … but so downtempo …) Superb release. John Carpenter style!”.

It offers its maximum experience when it is taken to the live show accompanied by the multimedia installation by 0bs3rv3r & AV-K.
