DEKATRON is the duo formed in 2013 by Ivan SENTIONAUT, who has just released his first solo LP in Sincronica (2016), and MIGUEL A.RUIZ, a pioneer of Spanish underground electronica since the early eighties who has worked under countless aliases since then with his cassette label Toracic Tapes, highlighting his legendary project Orfeón Gagarin, which was sponsored in its early days by Asmus Tietchens and Discos Esplendor Geométrico! Their first album Dekatron II (2014) has been a great success, receiving excellent reviews that consider them as the new sensation of cosmic electronic music. Taking inspiration from the beginnings of computing, early computer systems and the deep cosmos, they explore the possibilities of the sounds of the new electronic era, from a large arsenal of analog and digital synthesizers, sound generators and automatic rhythm units.

Dekatron III is the expected continuation: their second LP (in limited edition too) where they expand their range of styles within electronics including more tracks and where we find echoes of Japanese techno pop , “cosmic disco”, and “ambient” extraterrestrial music. A richer, more varied and mature album than his debut, and without a doubt a classic future of Hispanic electronica.
