Javi Ribes started playing with synthesizers a couple of years ago, when he bought his first drum machine and since then he fell in love with electronic music. What captivated him the most was the sounds of the “ruta del bacalao” in the Valencia of the 80s, from which, he has drunk since he was a child, the forcefulness of the New beat or the elegance of the electro… influences in which he tries to follow in his project of Javato. He has always been playing in punk bands and different styles.

He produces everything with analog synthesizers, his music is a mix of classic synthesized sounds from new beat, electro and early 90’s european techno.

His first live in June 2019, has made him pass in this format through many underground venues in the peninsula, as the Residencia, Meteoro or the Ocho y Medio to name a few.
